I have researched cosmetic mirror shots which have been used in a variety of teen films and found the best picture to suit with an interpretation of our own shot similar to this to show Sarah checking herself but also in the reflection you will see Ashley 'eyeing' Sarah for the second time. Now knowing they're in the same class this might give an advantage for Ashley to work on his best chat up lines to get her most attention.
This is a picture of our shot in which we recorded today where Sarah is looking into her cosmetic mirror but for some reason she turns it in order to have a glimpse at Ashley who is sitting behind her. From this picture it is not clear enough to see Ashley's facial expression as it is in the actual recorded video where you will see him looking at her up and down and a cheeky 'biting of lips' to show that he is madly attracted to her. This could also foreshadow Ashley and Sarah affection for each other which is shown later on in the film as they end up falling in love with an addition of complexed action to show the 'CHANGE' in Ashley's life.
